Juan Pablo Villaseñor was born on Morelia, Michoacán, México in 1956.<BR>He studied at the 'Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC)', where he earned his degree, with the short film Y yo que la quiero tanto (1987).<BR>Por si no te vuelvo a ver (2000), was his film debut; won thirty awards, including the "Ariel de Oro" and the FIPRESCI award in the "Muestra de Cine Mexicano de Guadalajara", among others.<BR>Los niños de Morelia (2004) was his first documentary.<BR><BR>http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0898138/bio
